WOW, I'm excited for you! I love ClickBank, it's my favorite affiliate program! I'm sure you'll love it too after you see what I'm about to show you...
Let's get it on!
First, I see that you're reading this, so I KNOW that you're ready to make some serious cash with ClickBank.
In order to get you started, you've got to create an account at ClickBank. Don't worry, it's free! And it's painless! Let me show you just how easy it is...
Go to the ClickBank home page (www.ClickBank.com) and click the "Sign Up" in the top, right corner. Here's a screen shot:

After you click "Sign Up," you'll be taken to the Sign Up Form and you should see the actual Sign Up screen, shown below:

As you can see, the sign up process is very short and all of the information is pretty standard. Name, address, email, etc. You'll whip through that in 10 seconds flat (unless you type using only your pointer fingers, like I do.)
PLEASE: Double check your information!
After all, the address you enter is where ClickBank will mail your commission checks! You want to get paid, don't you? - Again, double check everything!
You'll be sent an email with a confirmation code to confirm your sign up. So enter the email address you check most often. They'll also send you an email when you sell a product and earn a commission. Trust me, it's nice to have that info emailed to you (Instead of logging into the ClickBank website 100 times each day to see if you made any sales.)
About the Phone Number: I entered my phone number over 4 years ago and they've NEVER called. But, if there's a problem with my account, it's nice to know that they can get in contact with me immediately!
Account Nickname: Take a minute and really think about what you want to use for the Account Nickname. This little bit of information will be used when you login to the ClickBank website and, more importantly, it will be shown in ALL of your ClickBank affiliate links - Which means some people will see it. So don't use your name :)
Let's walk through the entire process...
We'll pretend you want to start selling a ClickBank product called "CB Mall." If you've never heard of it, that's perfect because I'll show you how to search and find products to promote:
It's really easy, especially for beginners. Go to www.CBMall.com for more info
First, go to the ClickBank Marketplace (www.ClickBank.com/marketplace.htm). In the top, right click on the "Marketplace" tab - This will bring you to the search area where you can find your products to promote and make money.
Next, type "CBmall" into the search field and click "Go."

When the search has finished, find the CB Mall listing. It will look like this:

You'll need to click on "create hoplink" to get your affiliate link and begin promoting this amazing product! Clicking the link will trigger a Pop-Up window, so if you've got a Pop-Up Blocker, you may need to turn it off.
The Pop Up will look just like this:

This is where you'll create your affiliate links. All you need to do is type your ClickBank Account Nickname (from when you signed up) in to the field marked Account Nickname.
The Tracking ID is OPTIONAL. If you'd like to add a keyword to identify this link, you can. All it does is list that keyword in your sales commission reports so you know where the sale came from. For example, if you place an affiliate link on your MySpace website, you could enter "myspace" into the Tracking ID. If you ALSO place a link on your FaceBook website, you could create another link with the Tracking ID "facebook."
That way, your commission reports will show you which website the sales are coming from - And you'll know which works and which doesn't. If you need more info on ClickBank Tracking ID, check out the ClickBank website.
Now, you'll see this information in the Pop-Up window:

You should copy & paste the link into a Text document or a Microsoft Word document for safe keeping - That's what I do with every ClickBank affiliate link I create. In fact, you should label the links as well. Add the descriptive title with the product name like "CB Mall - ClickBank Affiliate Link." That way you can grab that link anytime you need it.
It's much faster & easier than going to the ClickBank website over and over. Again, that's what I do but, you're free to do it however you want and find a system that works for you :)
The next step is easy! Just paste your link anywhere you want. On your website, your blog, in the signature line of your out-going email or in your favorite forum.
Make sure you place the link where you KNOW people will be interested in the product!
Let me tell you, not everyone is interested in the CB Mall (yes, I agree with you. They should be...). For example, let's say you're a blogger and your blog is all about golfing. You should be searching ClickBank for affiliate ebooks on golf, not CB Mall.
Does that make sense?
Here's another way to look at it...
You found this site, MyAffiliateTips.com, because you were looking for some information on Affiliate Marketing or Making Money Online, right? Good. I know that because it's all we talk about on this site! Which means I can promote ebooks on Affiliate Marketing and Making Money Online and there's a good chance you're interested in all of them.
Isn't that fair to say?
What if I placed an advertisement for an Italian Cookbook on this page, right here?
You'd skip right over it, wouldn't you?
Yes, you would because you're not interested in that right now! You want my helpful information – Not a cookbook! Like I said above, you came here to get info on Affiliate Ebooks, ClickBank, Affiliate Marketing, and other related subjects!
Are you starting to see where this is going?
You should know this is the BIGGEST MISTAKE people make when starting out with affiliate ebook programs?
They choose a PRODUCT to promote BEFORE they know what their VISITORS want! Then, they'll try and force that product on people who aren't even remotely interested. (Just like me putting the Italian Cookbook on this site! Sure, you may LOVE Italian, but that's not why your here!)
Trust me! I made the same mistake and it killed my business for YEARS!
Learn from my mistakes. I beg you!
